**Leitmotiv:** «So viel wie möglich sehen – so wenig wie möglich verstehen» ([Hochuli Freund/Stotz 2021, S. 163](/book/arbeit/163)). Informationen werden mit einer Haltung der Offenheit und Unvoreingenommenheit erfasst.

|
||
**Aufgabe:** Die wichtigsten Informationen zum Fall und seinem Kontext zusammentragen, um sich ein erstes Bild der Fallsituation zu machen ([Hochuli Freund/Stotz 2021, S. 162](/book/arbeit/162)). Die Situationserfassung ist zugleich eine kontinuierliche Aufgabe — sie wird im Verlauf des Unterstützungsprozesses immer wieder aktualisiert.

**Ressourcenorientierung:** Der professionelle Blick richtet sich gezielt auf das Positive und Vorhandene — mindestens 60 % der Personenbeschreibung sollen ressourcenorientiert sein ([Hochuli Freund/Stotz 2021, S. 164](/book/arbeit/164)).

|
||
**Kooperation:** Die Zusammenarbeit mit dem Klient*innensystem ist unabdingbar. Gemeinsames Suchen nach Informationen ist zugleich eine erste Intervention ([Hochuli Freund/Stotz 2021, S. 164](/book/arbeit/164)).

|
||
**Trennschärfe:** Unterscheide konsequent zwischen Information und Bewertung, zwischen objektiven Daten und subjektiven Geschichten, zwischen personenbezogenen Informationen und solchen zur Lebenssituation ([Hochuli Freund/Stotz 2021, S. 163](/book/arbeit/163)).
